The Role
This is a pure new business role focused on identifying, developing and converting new opportunities across our target sectors. Success will be measured on your ability to build a strong pipeline, engage decision-makers and secure profitable new customers.

You will be responsible for generating your own opportunities, developing strategic prospecting plans, and managing the sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target and win new business opportunities across key market sectors
- Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans to generate qualified leads
- Build relationships with key decision-makers including Procurement, Packaging, Marketing and Operations teams
- Generate appointments through proactive outreach, networking, referrals and industry events
- Deliver compelling customer presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition of new customers into the business
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and opportunity reporting via Salesforce CRM & Slack
- Represent the business at exhibitions, networking events and customer meetings
- Achieve agreed new business revenue and margin targets

About You
- Proven track record of winning new business in a B2B environment
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for opening doors and converting opportunities
- Demonstrable success in achieving or exceeding new business sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, resilient and highly results-driven
- Comfortable operating in a target-driven environment
- Ability to build credibility and influence at all levels within customer organisations
- Luxury Packaging & Far East manufacturing experience would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
