Luxury Destination & Shopping Presenter – Cruise Ships Worldwide

Destination & Shopping Presenter | Shipboard | 6-Month Contracts | Global Cruise Fleet

Strong Base + Uncapped Commission | Flights, Accommodation, Meals & Training Included

Take the stage. Own the room. Become the person every guest talks about before they step ashore.

The Cruise Retail Academy is recruiting Luxury Destination & Shopping Presenters for high-profile onboard roles across world-class cruise fleets, spanning itineraries throughout the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

This is not a traditional sales role.

It's designed for magnetic, high-energy professionals who can electrify a theatre audience one moment and build a genuine one-on-one guest connection the next — turning curiosity into excitement, and excitement into action.

The Role

As a Luxury Destination & Shopping Presenter, you will be the onboard authority on luxury shopping and destination experiences — both at sea and ashore. You will host live stage presentations, run destination shopping seminars, and guide guests toward unforgettable purchases and experiences through trust, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm.

You will:

  • Host high-energy shopping presentations and live stage shows to large onboard audiences
  • Deliver destination shopping seminars, educating guests on jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, and luxury brands available in ports
  • Manage daily desk hours — meeting guests one-on-one, pre-qualifying buyers, and building appointments for port visits
  • Greet guests at the gangway and distribute personalised shopping guides and destination maps
  • Build genuine relationships with high-spending guests throughout the voyage, identifying what they're looking for and matching them to the right experience
  • Organise and execute in-store and onboard events in collaboration with port retail partners
  • Manage onboard marketing — digital messaging, TV scheduling, daily programme content, and signage
  • Track guest interactions and follow through with tailored recommendations throughout the voyage
  • Collaborate with onboard leadership and revenue teams to maximise every voyage opportunity

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience in jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, or luxury retail is a strong advantage. A background in acting, theatre, entertainment, or presenting is highly sought after. Multiple languages are a strong bonus. Cruise experience is welcome but not essential — presence, energy, and drive matter most.

Why This Role Stands Out

This goes beyond a presenting role. It's about:

  • Commanding the stage and becoming the most talked-about person on the ship
  • Bringing destination excitement and luxury experiences to life through storytelling and genuine connection
  • Building a truly global career across the world's most iconic cruise itineraries

For the right person, this role offers world-class travel, uncapped commission earning potential, and a unique platform to build a high-impact career at the intersection of luxury, destinations, and live performance.
