Engagement: Self-employed contract

Pay: Commission only—15% of qualifying first-year membership payments. No basic salary.

UK Corporate Polo is recruiting a Sales Executive to grow our executive and corporate membership programme.

Membership packages range from £5,000 to £10,000 and combine polo experiences, business networking and visibility opportunities. The programme helps executives develop their professional profiles and companies strengthen their brand presence.

You will generate your own prospects and manage each sale from initial contact through to customer payment. You will organise your own working hours and sales approach.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach founders, CEOs, senior executives and corporate decision-makers through LinkedIn, professional networks and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective executive and corporate members.
  • Understand each prospect’s interests and recommend suitable membership packages.
  • Conduct sales conversations, present proposals and follow up on enquiries.
  • Answer questions, address objections and negotiate within approved terms.
  • Secure membership sales and follow up until payment is received.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, activity and sales records.
  • All customer payments go directly to UK Corporate Polo.

Experience and Skills

We welcome applicants with experience in luxury sales, premium memberships, corporate hospitality, events, recruitment, property, professional services or similar sales roles.

You should have:

  • A record of generating your own leads and winning business.
  • Experience using LinkedIn to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Confidence communicating with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong organisation and consistent follow-up.
  • The ability to explain membership benefits accurately and build trust with customers.
  • Previous polo experience is not required.

Commission

You will earn 15% of qualifying first-year membership payments received from customers you source and close, excluding VAT and accounting for discounts and refunds.

For illustration:

  • £5,000 in qualifying receipts excluding VAT earns £750 commission.
  • £10,000 in qualifying receipts excluding VAT earns £1,500 commission.

Actual earnings depend on completed sales and eligible payments received.

Commission is paid monthly after customer funds clear. Where customers pay in instalments, commission is paid proportionately as each payment arrives.

Commission applies only to first-year membership payments. Renewal payments are not commissionable under this arrangement.

Before you start, the written agreement will set out commission eligibility, sales attribution, payment dates, cancellations and refunds.

No application fee, joining fee or membership purchase is required.

Support Provided

UK Corporate Polo will provide:

  • A briefing on the membership programme, benefits and target customers.
  • Approved sales materials for prospect conversations and presentations.
  • Membership pricing and guidance on approved commercial terms.

You will source your own leads and manage your sales activity. Routine business expenses are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any event attendance and associated expense arrangements must be agreed in writing by both parties in advance.
