About the Role
After four successful seasonal pop-ups in Central London, Shackleton’s first ever full time store opened in October 2023 in London’s West End.
We are looking for experienced retail assistants with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful individuals need to be able to confidently communicate both the luxury and performance aspects of the brand as well as its unique heritage and back story, inspired by the life and achievements of Sir Ernest Shackleton.

The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in ensuring the store’s success across the following parameters:
- Creating and delivering an exceptional brand experience
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Sharing expert knowledge in expedition apparel
- Sharing expert knowledge in the outdoors and extreme travel
- Display and merchandising, ensuring a truly wow experience
- Sales of Shackleton products and expedition experiences
- Maintaining the highest of store standards in terms of cleanliness and merchandising
- Supporting and participating in store events
- Continuously elevating the store experience by supporting leadership with projects and brand initiatives
- Responding to both written and telephone customer enquiries through the company customer service portal

About You
- Proven track record and passion for customer service ideally in the luxury or performance sectors
- Familiar / experienced with outdoor experiences, travel and adventure
- Familiar with technical apparel / materials / construction / performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High personal standards
- Strong team player
