SALES PROFESSIONAL, LUXURY WATCHES

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Professional will represent a luxury watch company's distinguished collection of luxury timepieces to a discerning clientele within the Manchester market. This role combines consultative selling expertise with product knowledge to drive sales revenue whilst building lasting client relationships within the luxury watch sector.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver consultative sales advice to clients, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of watch movements, craftsmanship, materials, and brand heritage to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
  • Develop and maintain a client portfolio, identifying opportunities for repeat business and nurturing relationships through personalised engagement and after-sales service
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue objectives through consistent performance and effective conversion of client inquiries
  • Maintain detailed client records and sales documentation in compliance with company systems, ensuring accurate transaction processing and client communication
  • Participate in product training sessions to remain current with new collections, technical specifications, and market positioning
  • Represent the company's brand values through professional demeanour, appearance, and adherence to service standards at all times
  • Support the management of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and maintenance of the sales environment to the highest standards

SKILLS AND PROFILE

  • Proven track record in luxury goods sales or comparable high-value retail environment, with evidence of consistent sales achievement
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong product knowledge or demonstrable capacity to acquire detailed technical and commercial knowledge of luxury watches
  • Results-oriented mindset with resilience and motivation to pursue sales objectives independently and collaboratively
  • Professional presentation and discretion, with an appreciation for the values and traditions associated with luxury watchmaking
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in client management and administrative responsibilities
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
