I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Working Pattern
This is a full-time role.
Typical working hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm, however this is not a standard 9–5 environment. We operate in a client-first industry, and flexibility is key — whether that’s being available outside of core hours when needed, or managing your time to deliver the best possible service.
Why Join Vedere
We’re at the start of something, not the finished version.
That means you’ll have real input, real responsibility, and the chance to help shape the direction of the business as we grow. There’s no hiding behind structure here — what you put in will directly impact what we become.
If you’re looking for something overly corporate, this probably isn’t it.
If you want to be part of a business that’s building properly, growing quickly, and doing things the right way — you’ll fit in here.
