Travel Consultant (Luxury Leisure)

Location: Bracknell (Minimum 2 days per week in office)

Company: BlckBx

About BlckBx

BlckBx is a luxury personal assistance and concierge platform that transforms how busy, ambitious professionals and high-net-worth individuals manage their personal lives. We blend empathetic, highly skilled human assistants with cutting-edge AI to alleviate the burden of life admin. While we handle everything from everyday tasks to complex lifestyle management, our luxury travel offering is a cornerstone of our service. We are essentially a luxury travel agency operating within a high-end personal assistance framework, and we are looking for an exceptional Travel Consultant to elevate our clients' experiences.

The Role

We are seeking a Travel Consultant who knows the luxury travel industry inside out. This isn’t a traditional travel agent role; you will be stepping into a high-end service environment where expectations are uncompromising. While our clients have varying budgets, the standard of service - meticulous, thoughtful, and flawless - remains universally high.

You will manage every stage of our clients' leisure travel, from a last-minute European city break or a family ski holiday to a bespoke African safari or a month-long honeymoon in the Maldives. It’s about the details: ensuring everything is thought through, anticipating needs before they arise, and delivering a seamless, unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Design Bespoke Experiences: Empathise with clients to deeply understand their exact requirements, then research, plan, and book tailor-made luxury travel itineraries.
  • Source and Curate: Find and compare flights, luxury hotels, private villas, ski chalets, and unique, off-the-beaten-path experiences.
  • Flawless Execution: Create meticulous, client-ready itineraries encompassing restaurants, activities, seamless transfers, and insider local recommendations.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, proactive relationships with hotel owners, luxury properties, airlines, tour operators, and DMCs globally. You need to come in with an existing network and the confidence to expand it.
  • Value Add: Secure exclusive upgrades, added-value benefits, and VIP experiences for our clients wherever possible.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay relentlessly up-to-date with industry trends - knowing what's new, what's hot, and crucially, what has recently received poor reviews.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has all the right ingredients: the knowledge, the passion, and the mindset. While we require a minimum of 2 years of experience, we are looking for the professionalism, polish, and gravitas of someone with 10 years in the industry.

  • Customer Obsessed & Ambitious: You take genuine pride in delivering exceptional service and are driven to exceed expectations on every single booking.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You are confident and highly effective on the phone. You know how to ask the right questions to uncover exactly what a client wants, even when they aren't sure themselves.
  • Detail-Oriented: You understand that luxury is in the details. You naturally think ahead and ensure nothing is left to chance.
  • Connected: You bring an existing network of industry contacts (hotels, DMCs, etc.) and know how to leverage them to create magic for our clients.
  • Experienced: A minimum of 2 years' experience working within the luxury travel industry (travel agency, tour operator, concierge, or luxury travel specialist). Experience handling holidays from planning to post trip follow ups and creating complex, tailor-made itineraries is essential.
  • System Savvy: Experience using GDS systems (Galileo, Amadeus, PTS, or Sabre) is highly desirable.
