Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hull, for a Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and Safety Floor Fitters.

The role involves preparing subfloors, setting out and installing LVT and safety flooring in commercial premises, and ensuring all work meets industry and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, applying adhesives, fitting and finishing floors, and carrying out repairs and replacements as required. The fitter will liaise with site managers and other trades, follow health and safety requirements, keep work areas clean, and complete installations within agreed timescales. Occasional travel to different sites and flexibility to meet project deadlines may be required.

Qualifications
- Practical experience in flooring installation, including Luxury Vinyl Tile and safety flooring
- Knowledge of specialist surfaces and other commercial flooring types.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, take accurate measurements, and work to specifications.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices on construction and commercial sites.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with reliable time management.
- Previous experience in commercial flooring or a related trade; relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships are an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to local sites as needed.
