Job Summary
This position operates within a Matrix environment, reporting daily to either the ILT(A) Exercise Project Delivery Lead or ILT(A) Training, Learning and Development Lead. The role involves delivering Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training for combined arms tactical exercises and events. The LVC Training Analyst contributes to effective military training events by analyzing the outputs of Live, Virtual and Constructive training and providing data and visualizations for military After Action Review and data analysis products. The role includes:
- Accurately capturing and reporting on operational and performance data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaising with other data organizations.
- Developing internal systems to support the needs of the organization.
- Performing any other tasks required for the successful delivery of world-class training for the military.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Effective communication and engagement with stakeholders to build productive relationships.
- Collaboration and coordination to deliver optimal LVC support to training events and facilities.
- Work with Training Analysts to rapidly exploit observations from training.
- Provide analysis of data as specified by doctrine, the Training Analyst, and the training provider.
- Produce timely data reports and products, making best use of presentation tools, to support the delivery of After Action Reviews.
- Use SQL and Excel to create new reports and provide products for short notice queries.
- Work with the Database Manager to develop the Data Analysis capability.
- Input data where needed, monitor performance progress, and highlight any events of interest to the relevant Training Analyst.
- Prepare data for transfer to external organizations in line with Cubic policies.
- Support exercises at day, night, and around the world as required.
- Comply with Cubic’s values and adherence to all company policy and procedures. In particular, comply with the code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time to time, as may be reasonably required of them.

Minimum Job Requirements
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Essential:
- Good working knowledge of Excel and SQL.
- Good understanding of GDPR.
- Computer-based background, with familiarity with Microsoft products.
Desirable:
- Education or experience of Battlegroup combined arms manoeuvre.
- Education or experience of delivery of training.

Education and Qualifications
Essential:
- Completed UK comprehensive/Military education or higher.
- UK Driving license.
- Qualified in Excel and other common MS products.
Desirable:
- Qualified in SQL.
- Military service.
- Instructional qualification.
Personal Qualities
- Team player.
- React well under pressure.
- Organized and self-motivated with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Willing to travel and spend extended periods away from normal work, both in the UK and abroad.
- Must be able to meet basic security vetting requirements.
- Qualities, values, and attributes important for the success in this role include strong communication (verbally and written) skills, analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities, effective interpersonal skills necessary to interact in delicate, sensitive, and/or complex situations, and possessing a passion for achieving results by building trusted relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
