Senior Data Coordinator
An exciting and challenging position has arisen within the Cancer research team based at ARI. This position is for a senior data co-ordinator post to support ATMP clinical trials across NHS Grampian.
The post will be 10.40 hours per week and would suit someone looking for a flexible work pattern between Monday and Friday. The post is funded until 31/03/2028.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration and coordination for a range of ATMP clinical trials as well as the local BioSafety committee.
- Work alongside an established team of research nurses and data managers based across NHS Grampian.
- Responsible for the data entry for a portfolio of complex ATMP trials run within the department.
- Keep trial paperwork up to date and implement standard procedures and work to trials protocols across a range of different trial projects.
- Manage and co-ordinate a diverse range of activities and will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Use computers and databases for daily tasks.
- Use your own initiative from forward planning to effectively managing workload in a role that requires the ability to multi-task.
- Have a pleasant and professional manner and a flexible approach to working, with the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment, prioritising and organising workload within tight time-scales and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience of clinical research especially managing commercial trials.
- Current GCP would be an advantage for this post.
- Keen to learn, has a flexible approach and who will work to the high standard required in research.
