The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at New Look DC. This position is a full time working Monday-Friday from 12:00-20:00

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare delicious food items, strictly following recipes and portion guidelines
- Support the Chef Supervisor/Chef Manager in crafting main meals and hot dishes
- Contribute to the creation of special event menus and buffets
- Set up counters for service periods, maintaining company standards
- Assist with accurate completion of wastage sheets
- Help count and record stock and equipment
- Proactively promote menu upgrades and special offers to customers
- Ensure full knowledge of dish ingredients to support customers with allergy queries
- Prepare food in accordance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
- Conduct and record temperature checks as required
- Perform cleaning duties as assigned by the cleaning roster
- Use chemicals safely and wear appropriate protective equipment
- Operate and clean equipment according to established procedures
- Ensure vending areas are fully stocked throughout your shift
