Our work matters because life matters, until the very end. For over 70 years, our specialist team has been working towards giving everyone the palliative and end-of-life care they deserve. We’re looking for an M365 and Cloud Specialist to help keep the technology up to date, resilient and secure.
You’ll be responsible for…
- Managing and continuously improving Sue Ryder’s Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and hybrid infrastructure services.
- Supporting Intune, Autopilot, identity, authentication, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Investigating and resolving complex technical issues, incidents and cybersecurity events, working with suppliers and Microsoft support when needed.
- Supporting cloud transformation, infrastructure change, automation, governance, monitoring and disaster recovery testing.
- Helping deliver secure, reliable technology improvements that enable colleagues to provide high-quality care and support.
The ideal candidate would be…
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving technology and working collaboratively. You’ll bring practical experience of Microsoft 365 and cloud environments, with the confidence to work across complex infrastructure while keeping security, resilience and service users in mind.
- Experienced in enterprise systems administration, with specific expertise in Microsoft 365 and related cloud services.
- Experienced in administering and deploying Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
- Comfortable supporting identity and access technologies including Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory, SSO and Multi-Factor Authentication.
- A strong troubleshooter who can prioritise varied work, document solutions clearly and communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and project teams.

Minimum Essential criteria
- Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge and experience of enterprise systems administration and specific expertise in the administration of Microsoft 365, Office 365, MS EMS and Defender Antivirus.
- Knowledge and experience of administrating and deploying Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
- Knowledge and experience of the administration of Azure AD, Teams, MEM and Exchange as well as other M365 workloads.
- Well-developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desirable criteria
- ITIL foundation v3 or v4.
- MS365, MS Azure or other cloud service qualifications, Intune certifications or relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience of PowerShell.
- Knowledge and experience of implementing Microsoft Information Protection and DLP policies.
