Microsoft 365 Engineer (Modern Workplace) | £300-£400 per day Inside IR35 | Exeter (3 days onsite per week) | 6 Months initial
This role will focus on the administration, governance and optimisation of core Microsoft collaboration and productivity platforms, supporting the ongoing adoption and enhancement of services including SharePoint, Teams, Copilot and Entra ID. The successful consultant will work closely with infrastructure, security and end-user services teams to ensure the Microsoft ecosystem remains secure, scalable and aligned to business requirements.

Key requirements:
- Strong administration experience across Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Hands-on experience deploying, configuring and supporting Microsoft Copilot, alongside governance and adoption best practices.
- Knowledge of the wider Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Viva, Forms and Stream, with an understanding of service integration and tenant administration.
- Exposure to one or more of the following would be highly desirable: Azure Landing Zones, Microsoft Defender, Purview, Intune, Power Apps, AVD, Windows 365 and licensing/subscription management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
