The Role
I am looking for a driven and experienced M365 Platform Manager to join a large nationally recognised brand headquartered in the West Midlands.
As the M365 Platform Manager, you will ensure effective delivery, optimisation, and strategic alignment of all M365 services within the business.
I am ideally looking for someone Midlands-based who can be on site in the West Midlands head office 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Lead on administration, development, and support of core M365 services (including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive).
- Manage relationships with third parties, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance against KPIs, and ensuring that service quality, cost efficiency, and compliance standards are met.
- Identify and implement improvements to platform performance, user experience, and productivity. Continually evaluate new M365 features and services, planning their introduction, and lead adoption initiatives that deliver measurable business benefits.
- Ensure the M365 environment adheres to company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements through robust governance controls.
- Work with IT, business stakeholders, and training teams to ensure seamless integration of M365 services with other enterprise systems, and to drive user adoption and awareness of new capabilities.
- Lead response to major incidents and oversee change management processes to maintain platform stability and minimise business disruption.
- Develop and maintain the roadmap for the M365 platform, ensuring it is positioned to support future business growth and evolving needs.

Experience required
- Must possess proven experience managing and administering M365 platforms within a large enterprise-sized organisation.
- Strong M365 product experience is required, specifically with core services like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Broad knowledge of the entire M365 suite with an understanding of how different M365 services interconnect and can manage the platform end-to-end.
- Must be adept at managing third-party IT service providers including skills in contract management, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
- Any relevant M365 certifications are preferred but not essential.
