M&A Analyst / Corporate Transaction Associate

Due to the Group’s continued success, we are looking for a charismatic, engaging and ambitious M&A Analyst to join our M&A / Corporate Deal team at our modern head offices in Bolton.

About The Role

Joining our team of as an M&A Analyst your duties will include:

  • Supporting the Corporate Deal Executives managing a portfolio of clients
  • Facilitating and attending meetings with clients and potential acquirers
  • Delivering an exceptional level of customer service throughout every step of the process
  • Building relationships with clients, trade acquirers, private equity investors and other professional advisers internally and externally
  • Analysing financial information and negotiating offers

As an M&A Analyst, you will be targeted with supporting the Corporate Deal Executives to complete business sales transactions (up to c.£15m EV) with an attractive commission structure available.

This is a varied role, where no two days are the same, and is an excellent opportunity for a results driven person looking to start or develop a career in mergers and acquisitions.

The successful candidate will receive ongoing support and training from an experienced team of Corporate Deal Executives, and Directors.

About You

A degree in a business, management, administration, or finance related subjects is desirable, however, we will provide you with full training upon joining us.

We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and add to our established and dynamic team.

Key Skills Required

  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • IT literate – experience using basic Microsoft package essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
  • Love meeting new people and building long-lasting relationships

Experience

  • Customer service, long-term relationship building
  • An understanding of business and finance, although not essential as training will be provided

Schedule:

  • Full-time, office-based with the potential to work from home on a hybrid basis in the future once fully trained.
  • Monday to Friday – 8:30am – 5:00pm, no weekends!

Remuneration

Salary: £27,000 + Commission
