The Company

Our client is a leading Corporate Finance advisory firm with an established reputation for delivering high-quality M&A advice to owner-managed businesses, private equity investors, and corporate clients. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of transactions, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Manager to join their expanding M&A team.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in the execution of M&A transactions, supporting clients throughout the deal lifecycle from initial marketing through to completion. You'll work closely with Managers, Directors, and Partners while taking ownership of key workstreams and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across a range of sectors
  • Prepare marketing materials including Information Memorandums, teaser documents, and management presentations
  • Build and review financial models, valuations, and transaction analysis
  • Conduct market research, buyer identification, and financial analysis
  • Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, tax, and Transaction Services advisers
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and support senior colleagues throughout the transaction process

Your Experience

  • ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience within Corporate Finance / M&A, ideally gained within a Big Four, Top 10, or boutique advisory firm
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Experience supporting the execution of buy-side and sell-side transactions
  • Excellent commercial awareness, communication, and stakeholder management skills
