Metis Search are currently partnered with a leading investment bank looking to add an Associate to its FIG team in London.
This is an established platform with a strong reputation across the Financial Institutions sector, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced senior bankers in a high-performing and collaborative environment.
The team benefits from strong deal flow and an extensive network of financial institution clients, providing exposure to a broad range of transactions across the FIG space. Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across the FIG sector.
- Produce financial models, valuations, and transaction analyses.
- Prepare client presentations, information memoranda, and marketing materials.
- Conduct industry and company analysis across banks, insurers, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
- Support due diligence processes and work closely with clients and external advisers throughout transactions.
- Develop relationships with management teams, advisers, and investors to support origination efforts.

Candidate Profile
- Approximately 3-6 years’ experience in investment banking, ideally within FIG or a related sector.
- Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
- Demonstrated transaction experience with exposure to live M&A or strategic advisory mandates.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Institutions sector and an interest in developing further sector expertise.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
