M&A Associate, Transaction Solutions – London, UK

Can you bring an outstanding combination of organisational skills, an ability to build strong personal relationships and preferably some touchpoints with law, finance or tax in your education to a role within our prestigious AMATS team?

What The Day Will Look Like

In this wide and varied role your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day delivery of strategic broking placements in support of AMATS’ innovative Sidecar X solution – including senior colleague and insurer engagement, project managing the underwriting process, and handling policy binding
  • Support the management of collaborator relationships (with colleague and insurer relationships being key to building trust in the Sidecar solution)
  • Attend external networking events, conferences, and seminars and contribute to the team’s business development efforts
  • Boost understanding of the broader AMATS capabilities to effectively connect with collaborators
  • Manage team pipeline, deal book and quarterly reporting to insurers

How This Opportunity Is Different

Our mix of deals includes both UK domestic and international transactions covering the full valuation range from the largest, most sophisticated multi-billion deals to sub-£50m transactions. As an Associate, you will be actively involved in the rollout and delivery of an important AMATS central initiative. This role offers considerable career growth, initially within the transaction solutions team and later throughout the AMATS division. Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • W&I / Tax / or general Transaction Services experience from within Audit / Accountancy / Legal or other analogous industries
  • Knowledge of the London insurance market is beneficial, with experience of running lineslips and/ or facilities preferred
  • Project management responsibility within current or previous roles, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Experience in producing written outputs and a strong attention to detail
  • Strong Excel, Power BI and analytical capability together with ability to apply AI in support of the role
