About Us:
ZenaTech is a Nasdaq-listed technology company focused on AI drone, Drone as a Service (DaaS), and Technology solutions for mission-critical applications for business and governments. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of drone applications across various industries, including defense, agriculture, logistics and commercial in applications like traffic management, wildfire response, environmental monitoring, border control and industrial inspections.
Job Overview:
You will play a critical role in identifying acquisition opportunities, building M&A target pipeline and broker/advisor network, and scheduling meetings with prospective sellers. A successful candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, project and time management skills, relationship management, ability to sift through large amounts of data, high degree of attention to detail, and be extremely organized. The role is unique as you will be engaged in deal origination from initial identification to evaluation and initial call. This role requires the candidate to be on-site at the office during all business days. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential target M&A opportunities and evaluate their fit with existing business models
- Build and maintain a detailed opportunity funnel to ensure a steady deal flow
- Build and maintain a detailed M&A broker contact list
- Collecting and consolidating company and industry data
- Gather information related to M&A target companies via publicly available information
- Build and maintain internal databases, and regularly update the team
- Setup meetings with potential targets and senior management
- Build and maintain relationship with potential sellers and brokers
- Identify and evaluate industry verticals for investment opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, think strategically, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast growing technology company
- Having experience as an intern/co-op or full-time in Sales, Corporate Development, or Business Development would be an asset
