Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a M&A & Corporate Finance Intern. The intern will support deal execution and corporate finance projects by conducting financial and market research, analyzing target companies, and preparing valuation models and transaction materials.

Day-to-day tasks may include:

- Gathering and organizing financial data
- Assisting in the creation of pitch decks and information memoranda
- Helping prepare client-ready presentations and reports
The intern will collaborate with senior team members, contribute to strategic and financial analyses, and gain exposure to the full transaction lifecycle from preparation through execution. The role offers hands-on experience in M&A advisory and corporate finance in a founder-focused, lower middle market environment.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel-based analysis.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, capital markets, and M&A fundamentals, or coursework in related fields such as finance, economics, or accounting.
- Proficient research skills, including gathering data from financial databases, industry reports, and company filings, and synthesizing findings into clear insights.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise presentations, reports, and client-ready materials using tools such as PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and a high level of integrity.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in M&A, private markets, or entrepreneurship; prior internship or project experience in finance or consulting is an advantage.
