M&A Data Analyst

West Midlands
Hybrid Working
Up to £60,000
Permanent – Full-time

We’re recruiting for an experienced M&A Data Analyst to support data migration and integration activity associated with ongoing acquisitions.

This is a hands-on, business-facing data role where you’ll work with information from acquired businesses, helping to understand, cleanse, map and validate data before and during integration.

The emphasis is on data analysis, accuracy and problem-solving, rather than highly technical data engineering.

What you’ll be doing

  • Analysing data from acquired businesses as part of the integration process
  • Reviewing large datasets and identifying data quality issues, gaps and inconsistencies
  • Mapping data between existing and target systems
  • Cleansing, manipulating and preparing data for migration
  • Validating and reconciling data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Investigating discrepancies and helping resolve data-related issues
  • Supporting testing and checking data following migration
  • Maintaining clear documentation around data mappings, quality checks and reconciliation
  • Working closely with business users, technical teams and third-party suppliers
  • Supporting multiple acquisition and integration projects at different stages

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
