The role

Join our rapidly growing M&A advisory firm and build the foundations of your career in Corporate Finance. As an Analyst at Collingwood, you’ll support our Corporate Finance deal teams on market-leading sale mandates for global B2B information, media and events clients, learning directly from experienced dealmakers and gaining real transaction exposure earlier than you would at a traditional firm. We’re looking for driven, detail-oriented individuals with some grounding in corporate finance, transactions, or financial analysis, and a genuine appetite to learn fast. In return, we offer a highly competitive package, hybrid working, and a supportive, team-first culture built to help you grow quickly.

What does the job involve?

As an Analyst in our Corporate Finance team, you’ll support Associates and senior colleagues across live deals, building your commercial skills and market knowledge with plenty of guidance along the way.

  • You will support the team in producing financial databooks, first drafts of information memoranda, and DD-ready data rooms, working closely with Associates and senior colleagues who’ll review and guide your work.
  • You will help prepare for client and buyer meetings, including drafting agendas and call notes and following up on actions.
  • You will assist with assessing a clients’ business drivers, quality of earnings, and key deal issues, building your understanding of the sale process as you go.
  • You will support business development activity, including researching targets, building prospect lists, and helping prepare materials for pitches and proposals.
  • You will contribute to Collingwood’s wider marketing initiatives and thought leadership, bringing ideas and research to the table.
  • You will use AI tools as part of your everyday workflow, helping speed up research, analysis, and document drafting so you can spend more time on the commercial, judgement-based parts of the job.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
