UK based M&A Director

We are delighted to be partnering with a Private Equity backed Pan-European Services group, who are actively looking for a UK based M&A Director. This will be a busy role, to scale a buy and build at pace across a fully AI defensible space largely in the blue collar/ hard services space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading origination and pipeline building across a fragmented landscape of small, medium and larger potential acquisitions
  • Leading the full execution process from LOI through to completion
  • Manage multiple external advisors including but not limited to Accounting firms, Law firms and Corporate Finance firms.
  • Accountability for reviewing and presenting Financial, Legal and other information as part of transactions
  • Working closely with the Fund, and senior leadership within the portfolio company

Candidate Profile:

  • 6-12 years experience within a purely M&A focused role ideally in-house (to Director or Head of level) and with an earlier background in a leading advisory firm (Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Transaction services) with track record coordinating multiple M&A transactions
  • Proven ability to be hands on, personally building pipelines, running multiple financial models, achieving off market acquisitions and holding full accountability for the transaction process in granular detail
  • Experience of working with a growth focused senior leadership team and/or board, ideally within a PE backed setting
  • Services experience is important, ideally in a blue collar or similar setting
  • UK based

Pay:

£130-150,000 basic plus attractive incentivised packaged
