M&A Due Diligence Officer (Lettings)

Full-time

About the Role

Letts Acquire is a boutique consultancy at the heart of M&A within the UK lettings agency sector. For more than a decade we've run in excess of 900 due diligence programmes for the sector's most acquisitive companies - when a lettings agency business changes hands, we're often the ones working in the background making sure it goes smoothly.

Due to continued growth we are looking to expand our core team - we are looking for someone who is sharp and curious with an investigative mindset and who has ambitions to become an expert - someone who can pick their way through messy data, spot what matters and confidently share findings.

This is a non-finance role

What You'll Do

  • Dig into lettings and estate agency files to check everything stacks up - spotting inconsistencies, gaps and red flags.
  • Complete Risk Registers that decision makers and their legal teams will rely on to structure and close deals.
  • Running your own projects, you will liaise with the internal Deal Team, external advisors as well as the key players on the sell-side, managing deadlines and flagging issues before they become problems.
  • Being an integral part of the live Deal Team, you will be at the centre of deals from pre offer, through diligence and on to post-completion business integration - you'll see how deal obstacles are overcome and how acquisitions actually get made.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
