Business Analysts – M&A Integration (Financial Services) | Senior and Mid-Level | Contract | London, Hybrid
A leading UK financial services organisation has completed an acquisition and is now integrating the acquired business. We're looking for three Business Analysts (one Senior and two mid-level) to join a small team supporting the senior lead running the business-side integration.
The focus is the business side of integration: Day 1 readiness, TSAs, operating model and risk and governance alignment.
What you'll be doing
- Mapping current and target operating models across both organisations, covering processes, roles, controls and handoffs
- Defining TSA scope, service levels and exit criteria, and tracking exit readiness
- Running requirements and process workshops with business, risk and operations stakeholders
- Producing gap analysis between the two organisations' policies, controls and governance frameworks
- Building Day 1 readiness checklists and collecting evidence from business owners
- Drafting process maps, RACIs and SOPs for the combined business
- Supporting governance reporting with status updates and RAID inputs

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
