M&A Tax Manager

This is an opportunity to build a visible career in a growing deal-tax practice where managers are trusted with clients, encouraged to use their judgement and supported by accessible senior colleagues. You will advise private equity investors, acquisitive groups, and entrepreneurial businesses on domestic and international mid-market transactions. The work spans acquisitions, exits and refinancings, giving you exposure from the first commercial question through to implementation after the deal.

A place to do your best work

The culture is professional without being formal and ambitious without becoming individualistic. Colleagues solve problems together, share credit and make time to help one another. You will have genuine ownership of assignments, backed by partners and directors who are available when their experience adds value rather than layers of unnecessary sign-off. Varied work, regular feedback and exposure to senior clients will support your progression, while a practical approach to workloads helps the team deliver at pace without losing sight of life outside work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
