The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Technology M&A professional to join a high-growth Transactions and Deals practice at senior leadership level.

The team advises corporate and private equity clients across the full M&A lifecycle, helping organisations understand, plan and execute the technology implications of complex transactions.

The work spans technology strategy, digital, applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, cyber security, operating models, technology costs and post-deal implementation.

Engagements include buy-side and sell-side technology due diligence, integrations, separations and carve-outs, IPOs, joint ventures, synergy programmes and the stand-up of new businesses.

This is a senior role combining client delivery, business development, team leadership and continued development of the Technology M&A proposition.

Key Responsibilities

You Will

  • Lead major Technology M&A engagements, acting as a senior adviser to corporate and private equity clients.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of technology due diligence, integrations, separations and wider transaction programmes.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-suite executives, investors, deal teams and other senior stakeholders.
  • Identify new opportunities and convert relationships into new engagements and revenue.
  • Lead the development and delivery of client proposals and pitches.
  • Provide high-quality, commercially focused insights and recommendations on complex technology and transaction issues.
  • Oversee engagement teams, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and commercially.
  • Work with wider transaction, strategy and technology specialists across different sectors and geographies.
  • Develop and enhance Technology M&A propositions, methodologies and services.
  • Support the continued growth and strategic direction of the Technology M&A practice.
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior and senior members of the team.
  • Maintain strong standards around engagement quality, risk management and profitability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
