About Us

Dyer Baade & Company is a London-based M&A advisory firm advising owners, CEOs, and professional investors on transactions in the £20–200m valuation range, with a particular specialization in deals that involve an exit to Private Equity and mid-market transactions in the wealth management sector. We focus selectively on mandates where strategic preparation, disciplined execution, and competitive dynamics materially influence valuation and deal terms. The firm is currently investing significantly in workflow automation, AI-enabled research, knowledge management, and transaction execution infrastructure to further enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability across advisory processes.

We are now hiring an M&A Transaction Advisory Manager to strengthen our deal execution capabilities and support the firm’s growth ambitions.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced transaction professional with a strong background in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence who is seeking to broaden their exposure to live M&A transactions within a specialist advisory environment.

This role is particularly suited to candidates who enjoy analytical depth, high-quality execution, and working on complex transactions in a detail-oriented and intellectually rigorous environment. The successful candidate will support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory mandates, working closely with senior advisers across a range of transaction workstreams. As part of the firm’s broader operational development, the role will also involve helping drive the implementation and refinement of AI-enabled workflows, research processes, and execution tools across selected areas of the transaction lifecycle.

Rather than broad end-to-end deal ownership from day one, the role is designed to develop deep expertise across key areas of transaction execution, financial analysis, advisory delivery, and project management. The position offers meaningful involvement across complex live transactions within a focused and collaborative boutique environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
