Apple’s GGML (Graphics, GPU and Machine Learning) Software team provides graphics software foundations across all of Apple's products. London Mac Metal Framework and Compiler team is responsible for delivering Mac focused Metal framework and GPU compiler features for our current and future Mac products as well as contribute to evolution development of the graphics software foundation across all products.

Description

As a member of the Mac Metal Framework and Compiler team you will contribute to Metal API and shading language feature design, development and adoption. You will be also part of the wider team owning the Apple graphics stack working on quality and performance improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Solid practical knowledge of C++
  • Understanding GPU architecture, programming model and modern graphics APIs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Frontend or general compiler experience (LLVM/Clang, gcc etc.)
  • Knowledge of GPU graphics programming & optimization techniques
  • API Design experience
  • Knowledge of Metal API and Metal Shading Language
