HOMAG is a world market leading manufacturer of high-quality industrial woodworking machinery. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HOMAG team, and we are currently recruiting for a machine demonstrator / operator trainer to work at our headquarters based in Castle Donington, Derby. The role includes demonstrating the usage of a wide range of industrial woodworking machinery to prospective buyers as well as providing operator training on the machine software packages. Additional responsibilities include providing telephone and online support for customers and maintenance of the showroom appearance on an ongoing basis. Knowledge of HOMAG machine operating systems would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Requirements:
- Ideally, candidates should be based in the Midlands/Derby area as this is an office-based role.
- Wood machining experience/qualifications required
- PC literate, highly capable in handling multiple software platforms
- Excellent communicator
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Versatility and flexible approach – multiple job functions within the one role

Additional information:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm
- Salary approx. £30 - £35k depending on experience
- Health care package option
