Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related scientific discipline
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
- Hands-on experience in scientific or quantitative research environments
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and data analysis tools
- Solid understanding of quantitative finance concepts, algorithm development, and data-driven decision-making
- Prior experience in developing and deploying models within a high-performance computing environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models tailored for quantitative trading strategies across various asset classes including equities and commodities
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts, traders, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, robust solutions
- Conduct research to identify new algorithms and techniques that can enhance predictive accuracy and trading performance
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and improve existing models
- Optimize code for performance and reliability in high-frequency trading environments
- Stay updated with industry trends, attending conferences, and delivering presentations to share insights and innovations
- Document methodologies and results thoroughly to ensure reproducibility and compliance with industry standards
- Participate in continuous learning initiatives and contribute to the development of the company's intellectual property portfolio
