The Opportunity:

A leading connected commerce marketing business is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its London-based team on a hybrid basis. The organisation partners with major retailers and global brands, using technology, data, and personalised experiences to create meaningful connections with shoppers and deliver measurable campaign results.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of solutions within the retail media and advertising environment. You will work alongside multidisciplinary colleagues to help turn complex commercial and customer data into practical insights, scalable products, and improved decision-making.

This is an amazing opportunity to join an ambitious organisation focused on innovation, growth, and changing the way brands and retailers engage with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development, and deployment of machine learning solutions that address business and customer challenges across connected commerce marketing.
  • This may include preparing and analysing large datasets, developing predictive models, evaluating performance, and improving solutions through experimentation.
  • Work collaboratively with data, engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable technical outcomes.
  • Communicate findings clearly, contribute to sound engineering practices, and help ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay informed about relevant developments in machine learning and apply appropriate methods to real-world problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
