We're partnering with a well-funded AI start-up that's transforming a traditional industry through machine learning and automation. Backed by leading investors, the company is building an AI-native platform that automates complex workflows at scale and is looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to help shape the next stage of its growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and deploy production-grade machine learning systems
  • Develop AI-powered workflows that solve complex real-world problems
  • Work closely with domain experts to translate business processes into intelligent automation
  • Improve model accuracy, scalability, and customer outcomes
  • Help shape the engineering culture as the team continues to grow
  • Collaborate directly with experienced founders in a fast-paced, high-impact environment

What we're looking for

  • Strong software engineering skills, ideally with Python
  • Commercial experience building and deploying machine learning models
  • Experience with modern AI technologies, including LLMs or GenAI, is highly desirable
  • Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment
  • Passion for building products that deliver measurable business impact
  • Must have core ML fundamentals — evaluation and metrics in particular — alongside hands-on experience applying LLMs to real problems
