We are working with an exciting AI software company that develops advanced machine learning products to solve complex, real-world problems. This company is looking for a technical leader to bridge the gap between research and engineering, transforming cutting-edge models from experimentation into robust production systems.
The Role
- Own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from data pipelines to deployment
- Fine-tune and optimise large language models using modern techniques like LoRA and SFT
- Design scalable inference infrastructure with a focus on latency, reliability, and efficiency
- Build and maintain high-quality data pipelines for diverse datasets
- Develop robust evaluation frameworks for model quality, robustness, safety, and performance
- Lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, and shape engineering best practices

What You'll Need
- Proven experience delivering machine learning systems into production
- Strong understanding of modern foundation models and large language models
- Experience building scalable training and inference infrastructure
- Excellent software engineering skills with a focus on maintainable, production-quality code
- Comfortable leading technical delivery while remaining hands-on
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across research, engineering, and product teams
