Full Description
Hiredbuddy is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team. This is an entry-level, remote position perfect for someone eager to launch their career in machine learning and artificial intelligence. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other teams to develop machine learning solutions that address business and technical challenges.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing datasets, developing machine learning models, evaluating model performance, and helping integrate ML solutions into applications. You will work with structured and unstructured data, identify patterns, and experiment with different algorithms to improve model accuracy and performance. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists, gaining valuable mentorship and hands-on experience.

Your daily tasks will include:
- Collecting and cleaning data
- Performing exploratory data analysis
- Preparing features
- Training machine learning models using Python and libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy
- Working with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, including classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation systems
- Assisting with model testing, performance evaluation, documentation, and optimization
As you grow in the role, you will have opportunities to work on more advanced projects involving deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and model deployment. You may also gain experience with tools and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Docker, cloud services, and ML deployment workflows.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related role (internships and academic projects count)
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Experience with libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy
- Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
- Basic knowledge of statistics and probability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Eagerness to learn new machine learning tools and technologies
