An innovative organisation in the financial services space is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. The successful candidate will join a fast-growing team that has built its technology function with a modern, cloud-first approach, placing artificial intelligence at the centre of its technology strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop and deploy AI-powered applications and solutions across a variety of business and engineering initiatives
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies to deliver innovative products and features
- Build and optimise prompt engineering frameworks, AI workflows and retrieval-based solutions
- Collaborate with software engineers and data teams to create scalable, production-ready systems
- Help establish best practices around development, governance and responsible technology usage

What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning or automated solutions
- Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI and prompt engineering
- Knowledge of modern tooling and frameworks, including exposure to RAG architectures and vector databases
- Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience developing scalable applications
