The platform allows organizations to describe what they need, then Manako creates and deploys Vision Agents that act on what they see without requiring new hardware. This approach removes the need for dedicated engineers or complex coding, making advanced computer vision accessible and practical. Manako focuses on real-time, actionable insights, helping customers streamline operations and improve responsiveness through computer vision.
Role Description The Machine Learning Intern will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to develop, optimize, and deploy models powering our Vision Agents in a full-time capacity. Daily tasks include:

- Training and evaluating machine learning and deep learning models
- Preprocessing and curating image, video, and structured datasets
- Benchmarking performance in real-world scenarios
- Assisting in integrating inference pipelines into the core platform
- Debugging deployment bottlenecks on live camera feeds
- Documenting technical findings
Qualifications
- Programming skills in languages commonly used for machine learning, including familiarity with relevant deep learning libraries and frameworks.
- Foundational knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, neural network architectures, and vision tasks (object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking).
- Experience with dataset preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation metrics for production or benchmark settings.
- Basic understanding of model deployment, inference optimization, and how ML pipelines interface with camera and edge streams.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
