About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for accomplished Machine Learning Researchers with publications at top-tier AI conferences including ICML, NeurIPS, and ICLR. You will contribute to advanced AI research projects by applying your expertise in frontier machine learning, helping improve the reasoning, learning, and problem-solving capabilities of next-generation AI systems.

The role is focused on researchers with a strong track record of original ML contributions and algorithmic innovation rather than purely applied analytics work.

  • PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • At least one published paper at ICML, NeurIPS, or ICLR.
  • Strong preference for candidates with multiple publications at these venues.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting original machine learning research.
  • Deep understanding of modern machine learning theory, algorithms, and model development.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and scientific communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced research environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
