🚀 Machine Learning Team Lead - London - Inside IR35 🚀
📍 London - 2 days per week
💰 Inside IR35 – rate dependent on experience
⏰ ASAP start for an initial 6 month contract
I’m looking for a hands-on Machine Learning Team Lead to join a highly technical ML team on an initial contract.
This is a technical leadership position leading and mentoring a team of talented ML Engineers while remaining close to the architecture, training and optimisation of cutting-edge ML models.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience leading / line managing ML Engineers
- Deep technical background in Machine Learning & Deep Learning
- Experience building, training and fine-tuning models, including working with modern transformer architectures
- Strong knowledge of distributed training and large-scale ML
- Experience with inference and model optimisation
- Strong Python + PyTorch / TensorFlow experience
- Proven experience taking models from research/development through to production at scale
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Ideally experience within a startup, scale-up or research-heavy environment
