Pilgrim’s Europe is a leading food manufacturer, and we are currently looking for Machine Minder to join our dedicated team in Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive workplace with great opportunities for development.
Shift pattern: Alternating Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14.00, 14:00-22.00.
Role Description
Machine Minder is required to operate effectively and maintain and basic upkeep of the machinery as required. Must also be aware of health and safety regulations and adheres to them.
Salary
Salary starts from £519 per week, £27,007 per year

- Responsibility for personal Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of other workers.
- To ensure that quality standards within the factory are maintained.
- To ensure that hygiene standards within the factory and machinery are maintained.
- To carry out basic mechanical duties in relation to the equipment within the factory.
- Required to set up and operate machinery.
- Assemble and disassemble machinery to facilitate deep cleaning.
- Provision of a service to other areas of the factory.
- Any Other Duties, which may be required by the Manager
Physical Conditions
The job is performed mainly in a chilled factory area and involves extensive periods standing.
