Location: Coulman Road, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: A GBP 13.60 per hour (Weekly paid, one hour for lunch unpaid)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday: overtime available various shifts.
To take responsibility for the setup and effective operation of production machinery, this role plays a key role in ensuring that production targets are met and that all products meet our high quality standards.
Duties
- Complete pre-start checks in line with H and S, food safety, SKU and quality requirements prior to commencing production.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure changes to the machine are made promptly.
- Liaising with the Production Supervisor / Line Leader for breaks and changeovers to maximise equipment.
- Monitor outputs, maintain routine checks and report to Line Manager any issues arising.
- Conduct alongside Engineering team Fault diagnosis and problem solving.
- Reporting promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
- Conduct line cleaning to required specifications.
- Conduct a thorough handover during shift finish.
- Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency).
- Learn other plant and equipment when requested.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures without exception.
