Machine Operative
Temporary
Kinetic Industrial are recruiting a Machine Operator for a leading multinational manufacturer based in Dukinfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machine operator who enjoys technical work, wants long-term stability, and is keen to develop specialist skills within a modern manufacturing environment. This role needs someone that can work a 3 shift rotation with ease, enjoys working with machinery, and is looking for a position that offers full training and progression.
You must be able to work all three rotating shifts Monday to Friday:
- 6am - 2pm
- 2pm - 10pm
- 10pm - 6am

The role of Machine Operator will include:
- Loading materials onto production machinery
- Handling and positioning coils using appropriate lifting equipment
- Packing coils of various sizes to meet customer specifications
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, basic checks, and reporting issues
- Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organized
- Progressing to full slitting machine operation
To be successful, we need the new Machine Operative to have:
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience
- Strong reliability, timekeeping, and ability to work all three shifts
- A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times
- Excellent communication skills
The Machine Operators job will provide:
- £15.90 per hour, with increases as you progress
- Rotating shifts: 6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6
- Temporary to permanent
- Full training from Machine Assistant to fully skilled Machine Operator
