We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected food manufacturing company based in Canning Town. Due to continued growth, they're looking for Machine Operatives to join their production team on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity

As a Machine Operative, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring machinery runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and productivity.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll be part of a supportive and dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality products to customers across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating, monitoring, and adjusting production machinery to ensure efficient performance
  • Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting any faults or issues
  • Ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards
  • Following company hygiene, health & safety, and food production procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production area

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, food production, or machine operating environment is advantageous but not essential
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • A proactive approach to health and safety
  • Right to work in the UK

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern, covering:

  • Days
  • Nights
  • Weekends

You'll work up to 17 shifts per month, offering a structured schedule and a strong work-life balance between rotations.
