Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Machine Operator role located in Stevenage. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor polyester film converting machinery according to production schedules and work instructions. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing basic maintenance checks to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves inspecting output for defects, measuring materials against specifications, and recording production data for quality and traceability. The Machine Operator will collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to report issues, follow health and safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement in the production process.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including visual inspection and measurement against specifications.
  • Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools for adjustments, minor maintenance, and material handling.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar production environment is beneficial.
