Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Thriplow, Cambridgeshire
Job Type: Temporary (Up until October)
Salary: £13.75 per hour PAYE
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our production team in Thriplow. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure bags to the bagging machine ready for filling.
- Operate the bagging equipment and initiate the bag filling process.
- Scan completed bags to ensure accurate stock control and traceability.
- Remove filled bags from the bagging area and place them onto the conveyor belt, preparing the machine for the next bag.
- Complete production paperwork while the machinery is running, including recording operating times, production data, and any relevant notes.
- Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operating environment is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when completing paperwork.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00
