Role Description
The Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom. The person in this role will operate construction machinery and equipment for groundwork and building tasks, following site plans and supervisor instructions.

- Setting up and checking machines before use
- Performing basic maintenance
- Reporting any faults or safety concerns
- Handling hand tools as needed
- Assisting with loading and moving materials
- Helping maintain an organized and safe work area
Collaboration with site supervisors and co-workers is essential to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with project specifications.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate construction machinery and equipment, with proven Machine Operation experience.
- Knowledge of Machinery safety procedures and basic maintenance practices.
- Experience using Hand Tools and other common site equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of Quality Control standards to ensure work meets project requirements.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for working with supervisors and team members.
- Previous experience in construction, groundwork, or a related field is preferred.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and commitment to safe working practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Relevant certifications or licenses for machine operation in the United Kingdom are an advantage.
