MACHINE OPERATOR JOBS AVAILABLE: TELFORD (SHROPSHIRE)
Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for stability in your next job role, and are you happy working 4 on 4 off shifts (rotating days and nights)?
We are looking for 4 Machine Operators to join a leading FMCG manufacturer in Telford (Shropshire) on a straight permanent basis. The starting salary for these roles will range between £35,200 - £36,300 per annum and the working hours are 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am (4 on 4 off shifts rotating days and nights).
You MUST have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a Machine Setter/Machine Setter Operator/Machine Operator, and you MUST live within a 25-mile radius of Telford (Shropshire).
People who have worked in similar job roles such as a Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Technical Operator, Process Operator, Conversion Operator, Rewind Operator, Core Rewinder, Skilled Machine Operator, Machine Setter or Skilled Machinist would be well received.

The On-boarding Process:
- A brief online technical assessment to verify your core skills.
- An on-site interview and factory tour - an opportunity for you to see the operation and meet the team.
Your Role:
As a core member of the production team, you will ensure our high-speed machinery operates at peak efficiency.
- Set up and operate high-speed machinery with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Troubleshoot and adjust machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Maintain quality standards by conducting regular checks and keeping precise production records.
- Collaborate with the wider team to exceed daily production targets.
What You Bring
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar role (e.g., Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Technical Operator, Rewind Operator, or Machine Setter).
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within the FMCG, Packaging, Food Manufacturing, Print, or Pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable.
- Technical Aptitude: Confidence in making minor machine adjustments and performing routine maintenance.
- Reliability: You live within a 25-mile radius of Telford and are looking for a long-term career move.
