PE Global is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Operative / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing client based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. The role is an initial 3-month contract and the starting rate will be €17.84 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Set up machines, load raw materials, and unload finished products
- Monitor product quality and take ownership of quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Follow written and verbal work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Complete production orders within required timescales
- Perform basic data entry and use computer systems where required
- Identify issues and escalate problems when necessary
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Work collaboratively as part of a shift team to achieve operational goals

Requirements
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Safety-conscious approach to work
- Willingness to learn new tasks and follow direction from supervisors
- Flexibility to work a 3-shift rotation pattern and overtime when required
- Good mechanical aptitude is advantageous
- Basic computer skills are preferred

Shift Pattern: OP3 / 3 Shift Rotation. Hours between 8am & 8pm Mon-Fri
Hours: 39 hours per week
Please note PE Global cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role, candidates will need the full right to live and work within the UK for at least the next 6 months.
