Overview
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our reinforcement manufacturing team.
Working within our reinforcement manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for operating and setting cut and bend machinery to produce reinforcement steel accurately and efficiently, ensuring all products meet customer requirements and quality standards.
Please note this role is not working within warehouse or inside environment, this is fully working outside in ALL weather conditions.
Working Hours
- Monday-Friday
- 06:30am - 16:30pm

Pay
- £12.71 per hour
- Overtime x1.5
- Temp to perm!
Responsibilities
- Operating and setting cut and bend machinery within a busy production environment.
- Producing reinforcement steel to customer schedules and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting bar bending schedules and production drawings.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Loading and handling steel materials safely.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area.
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in working as a machine operator.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and tooling.
- Skills in materials handling, assembly, machine operating, and utilisation of various tools.
- A strong work ethic with reliable attendance
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machinery operation and materials handling
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
