About the Company
FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established stainless-steel manufacturing and distribution business with the recruitment of a Machine Operator based in Preston.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities include operating production machinery safely and consistently, setting up tooling and preparing machinery for production, monitoring product quality and production output, completing production paperwork and recording results accurately, identifying faults and reporting issues promptly, carrying out routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance, and working towards production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery safely and consistently
- Setting up tooling and preparing machinery for production
- Monitoring product quality and production output
- Completing production paperwork and recording results accurately
- Identifying faults and reporting issues promptly
- Carrying out routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance
- Working towards production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment
Required Skills
- Good mechanical awareness and practical problem-solving ability
- Comfortable completing measurements, quality checks and paperwork
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work well as part of a team
- Flexible approach to workload and production requirements
- Good timekeeping and attention to detail

Pay range and compensation package
- Salary: Negotiable Dependent on Experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
